The work

We are looking for a Treasury Controller to support and collaborate closely with the Group Treasurer in managing and developing IQM’s treasury function, ensuring accurate cash positioning, liquidity and treasury reporting across the Group.

In this role, you will execute day-to-day treasury operations and controls within the framework set by the Group Treasurer, while ensuring accurate and timely treasury and cash reporting. You will also support the continuous improvement of treasury processes and tools.

The role owns the operational execution of cash management, treasury reporting, and credit card administration, while also contributing to strategic treasury initiatives such as building out treasury infrastructure and systems, and ensuring treasury transactions are properly and accurately booked.

What you’ll actually do

• Manage day-to-day cash positioning and short-term liquidity across IQM's global bank accounts, and own the daily payment process, while payment execution itself is carried out by an external payment provider

• Prepare treasury and cash flow reporting, including recurring KPIs and management reporting

• Lead, or be heavily involved in, the build-out and implementation of IQM’s treasury system, including connecting global bank accounts to the payment platform

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the treasury function across cash management, reporting, cash investing and market risk management

• Ensure day-to-day compliance with treasury policies, procedures and internal controls

• Administer IQM’s global corporate credit card programmes

• Support execution of FX transactions and monitoring of exposures under the Group Treasurer’s guidance

• Assist in mid- and long-term cash flow forecasting

• Support Enterprise Risk Management activities and reporting as needed

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor or Master´s degree in Finance

• 3+ years of experience working in a corporate treasury environment (e.g. cash management, treasury accounting and FX risk)

• Experience in a dynamic and structured working environment is seen as a benefit

• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset

• Ability to carry out tasks independently and take accountability

• Fluency in English, Finnish language skills are seen as a benefit

• Experience in implementing treasury management system

• Experience with centralized payment systems and bank account integrations

• Experience with enterprise risk management
