Cambri is looking for an ambitious product designer.

We are on a mission to reduce waste from the environment and people's lives. We do it by helping our clients, large retail brands, to only create products that consumers need and want.

Cambri's product is a consumer research platform that allows clients to test product ideas with real consumers and provides automatically generated deep insights into consumer behavior. In basic terms, clients can upload their product idea to Cambri. We will recruit respondents, run the survey, analyze results, and create a report.

We are a small company, about fifty people, but we work with major brands around the world such as Coca-Cola and Danone. Cambri has offices in Finland, Sweden, the UK, and the US.

As part of the product team, you'll work closely with senior professionals in product development and data science — a chance to dive deep into modern product development and the latest tools.

Our product team is about fifteen people strong and located in Finland. We have a cozy office next to Kamppi in Helsinki, which is open for you at any time of the day. Although most of the team members work remotely, we meet regularly at the office for face-to-face planning, team events, and monthly team breakfasts.

You will enjoy working with us if:

- You have high agency. Instead of waiting to be told what to do, when you see an opportunity, you bring it to the team and are ready to get your hands dirty.

- You are excited about trying new things.

- You keep yourself accountable for delivering outcomes, not just executing on tasks.

- You are comfortable with uncertainty. You can get a vague brief and shape it into an outstanding solution.

- You are comfortable with imperfect solutions, considering them learning opportunities.

You will not enjoy working with us if:

- You expect someone to always tell you what and how to do a task.

- You need a detailed, fully-defined brief and find ambiguity frustrating.

- You want every solution polished to perfection before it ships, and struggle to treat early versions as steps toward something better.

This is a high-impact role. Beyond years of experience or title, what matters most is your ability to shape ambiguous problems, move quickly, and deliver strong outcomes with the team.

What you will do:

- Work with the product manager and the CTO to define how the product works

- Design intuitive, polished interfaces and raise the visual bar of the product

- Interview clients and prospects

- Together with the product manager and CTO, process feedback and insights and turn them into product design prototypes

- Advise and help the technical teams with design implementation

- Use AI coding tools to create live prototypes and maintain working versions of components in Storybook

- Champion and use the latest AI tools to improve design workflows

- Communicate updates and answer questions related to product development and design

What we're looking for:

- A portfolio that shows strong visual craft and UI polish — work that looks and feels premium

- Solid UX fundamentals: user flows, interaction design, clear information hierarchy

- Strong hands-on experience using coding agents for prototyping

- Ability to take research and feedback and turn it into concrete design decisions

- Strong English communication — you'll interview international clients and explain your design thinking to the team

Nice to have:

- Front-end familiarity (HTML/CSS, React) and experience with design systems / Storybook

- Experience designing B2B or SaaS products

- Some user research or interviewing experience

- Interest in consumer research, retail, or sustainability

What we expect from you in the first three months:

- Learn the product and domain area well enough to be able to work independently on scoped tasks

- Prototypes you create and maintain are used in the real development work

- Be able to confidently answer the team's questions about the design

- The new functionality and identity are aligned with the product vision and current development direction

What we offer:

- Opportunities for professional growth and learning in a highly professional team

- Office with a view in downtown Helsinki

- Hybrid work

- Salary €4,000–4,500 per month'

- Employee benefits: occupational health, lunch vouchers, sports & culture benefit (Virike), internet, mobile subscription

- Other perks: office snacks, regular team socials, annual company offsite

We review applications on a rolling basis and will close the position as soon as we find a suitable candidate, so we encourage you to apply early.
