QA Engineer
Software Engineering, Quality Assurance
Helsinki, Finland
EUR 4k-4,500 / month
Cambri is looking for an ambitious QA Engineer to help us build high-quality software that our customers love.
We are on a mission to reduce waste from the environment and people’s lives by helping large retail brands create products that consumers actually need and want.
Cambri is an AI-powered consumer research platform that helps companies test product ideas with real consumers and receive automatically generated insights. We work with global brands including Coca-Cola and Danone and have offices in Finland, Sweden, the UK, and the US.
Our product team consists of around fifteen people based in Finland. We mostly work remotely but meet regularly at our office next to Kamppi in Helsinki for planning, team breakfasts, and other events.
You’ll become the third member of our growing QA team, joining our QA Lead and Senior QA Engineer. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and data science, with room to grow into automation, AI-assisted testing, and broader quality engineering.
We practice shift-left and shift-right quality engineering: shaping quality early, verifying features during development, and validating releases in production. We release frequently—often daily—so we assess regression risk continuously instead of running large regression cycles. We also have a comprehensive automated test suite and custom AI Skills.
You will enjoy working with us if:
You have high agency. When you want to see change, you take ownership, champion your ideas, and turn them into reality.
You enjoy understanding how software works rather than simply following test scripts.
You like collaborating closely across QA, engineering, and product.
You are curious, proactive, and comfortable with uncertainty.
You believe quality is everyone’s responsibility.
You will not enjoy working with us if:
You expect detailed instructions for every task.
You only want to execute predefined test cases or work in isolation.
You see QA as a final gate or expect others to implement the improvements you suggest.
What you will do:
Verify new functionality and bug fixes as Jira tickets move through development.
Create practical test cases in Jira and help define acceptance criteria for new user stories.
Perform exploratory, risk-based, regression, and production validation testing.
Give developers fast, actionable feedback as features evolve.
Report issues clearly, reproduce them reliably, and verify fixes.
Improve our QA processes, tooling, and documentation using your initiative and our AI-powered tools.
Contribute to test automation as your experience and interests grow.
What we’re looking for:
At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong manual testing skills and experience testing modern web applications.
Experience writing clear bug reports and practical test cases.
Comfort working with Jira or a similar issue-tracking tool.
Basic familiarity with GitHub and working with repositories.
Strong English communication skills.
The ability to work independently and take ownership.
Nice to have:
Experience working in a Kanban or other Agile environment.
Basic understanding of APIs and tools such as Postman.
Experience using browser developer tools.
Test automation experience or an interest in learning it.
Experience with B2B or SaaS products.
What we expect from you in the first three months:
Learn the product and domain well enough to verify scoped Jira tickets independently.
Provide timely feedback and contribute a quality perspective during user-story refinement.
Become familiar with our production validation, automation suite, and AI-assisted workflows.
Build strong relationships and champion at least one useful improvement toward implementation.
What we offer:
Professional growth, mentorship, and influence over how quality engineering evolves at Cambri.
Hybrid work and an office with a view in downtown Helsinki.
Salary €4,000–4,500 per month.
Occupational health, lunch vouchers, sports and culture benefit (Virike), internet and mobile subscriptions.
Office snacks, regular team socials, and an annual company offsite.
We review applications on a rolling basis and will close the position as soon as we find a suitable candidate, so we encourage you to apply early.
